Meals at Oikia are heartwarming experiences – always carefully thought-out and using only natural produce - they are tasty and nutritionally balanced. Nothing frozen or ready-made is acceptable here. The meals are based on vegetables, pulses, grain and dairy products – basically semi-vegetarian, although poultry and fish is on offer for every two to three meals.
Accommodation in Oikia is usually half-board comprising breakfast (with homemade muesli, jams and marmalades), and lunch. Dinner gives the chance to explore the island and enjoy some of the great places to eat that can be found either in the town or by the sea. However, if requested, Oikia can also provide an evening meal.
