TATTO INTERNO

with Michele Marchesani (IT)

February 12 - February 15

A few words about the workshop:

"Every stimulus, even the most imperceptible, triggers an adaptive response in our body aimed at restoring balance. This process manifests itself in particular in some body tissues, generating impulses in the muscles and joints. Thus a gesture is born, a movement deeply connected to what generates it.

This response phenomenon, intimately related to Fascial Movement, has a profound impact on the well-being, evolution and creative process of the person. The seminar aims to guide participants towards a clear and conscious perception of the movement of our tissues, and allow this awareness to also be integrated in other techniques such as dance, yoga, different types of massage, theater, etc.”

The practice and workshop of Tatto Interno is structured in two ways:

  1. Personal: individual practice to explore the quality of fascial movement subject to different stimuli.
  2. In pairs or groups: a shared experience in which support can be given or received.
In the practice in pairs, the companion facilitates the movement of the practitioner through listening and support, thus expanding the experience to a relational dimension and creative exploration.

MICHELE MARCHESANI began his work on the body in 1996 through the study of Shiatsu and subsequently deepened his technique by studying ShinTai, Fascia, Chakras, Activation of the Body of Light (Light Body Yoga) and numerous other holistic approaches.

In 2003 he synthesized the “Tatto Interno”, a body technique of movement and perception in which he holds workshops and training courses.

In 2004, teaching Tatto Interno at an International Dance Festival, he discovered Contact Improvisation, which he practices as a student, event organizer and international teacher. His research has led him over the years to write numerous articles and led to the publication of his book “Somatics of Contact Improvisation”, available in Italian and English.

In parallel to the work on the body and with the same curiosity and dedication of a researcher, Michele has a deep passion for music. He explores with interest, focusing above all on the improvisational aspects, and the interweaving of sound with other forms of artistic expression. Website
